I bought this for my 10 yr olds birthday. He loved it. And I loved the price. What a bargain, compared to what you pay at the book store for just 2 hard cover books, I got all five with a great keepsake box. My son loved the secret compartment in the bottom of the box. Recieved in the time it said it would!!

I bought this for my grandaughter who is 13. She read the first book and loved it. It's a nice package for the whole collection. The books are a great read for anyone who likes Mythology.

I bought this set for my husband's birthday,but our grandson was so thrilled about them---they are sharing them. They keep checking in with each other as to which one the other is reading now,so they can discuss what both have read so far! How cool is that!? The surprise turned out to be for me!! Great gift idea!

I am in my early 20s and am drawn the Children's Fantasy series due to my interest in education. I found the stories to be very creative, original, and a great way to get kids to read. The stories are not as complex as the Harry Potter series, which makes for an easier read. It also sets up the reader to explore more into Greek mythology, a personal favorite of mine. Recommend to any parent trying to get their child interested in reading.

This is a very attractive boxed set of the 5 Percy Jackson books. I imagine most people reading this will be aware of the stories - but just to say that these are the adventures of Percy as he battles with various mythological Greek gods and monsters.It has been likened to Harry Potter as most fantasies are but there are no real connections other than the genre.
After feasting on this 5 book set, some other stories to get stuck into are:
